G-UNIT was started on 1998. 50 Cent and Tony Yayo know each other since they was child's, so they decided to create their own rap group "G-UNIT". On 1999 Lloyd
Banks join to G-UNIT after he finished High School. G-UNIT consists of five persons: 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks Tony Yayo, Young Buck and The Game. After this popularity of G-UNIT start to grow in underground New York. In 2000 50 Cent was signed to Columbia Records but he was shot and his album was not release. And group start all over again. G-UNIT started doing mixtapes. In 2002 G-UNIT drop album "50 Cent Is The Future" revisiting material by Jay-Z and even Rapheal Saadiq. After this album 50 Cent was signed to Shady Records. February 06 he released his first official album Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. Album become 6 times platinum. On Get Rich Or Die Tryin' you can hear Lloyd Banks and new G-UNIT member Young Buck. With help on 50 Cent G-UNIT was signed to Shady Records. November 18, 2003 G-UNIT release their second but first official album "Beg For Mercy". In winter 2004 to G-UNIT join The Game. Now after succes of "Beg For Mercy" all crew members working on their solo albums.
